GBs for NYC - CityLax, Inc.

Last summer Kavanagh Sports Group and Kirst Brothers Lacrosse collaborated in a two day “Back to School” play day coaching the next generation of dreamers. The non-profit organization CityLax announced that CJ and Chris Kavanagh are 2025 ambassadors for the #GBSFORNYC campaign.

Following in Pat Kavanagh’s footsteps, CJ and Chris are asking fans to pledge to donate $10 to CityLax for every groundball they pickup this season.

KBL / HARDWOOD LACROSSE

Our core values and principles at KBL are Energy and Effort, Attitude and Acknowledgement, Together and Toughness. This session, the group went around and nominated one player they thought demonstrated these attributes throughout the session.

Cooper Graham consistently led the session through his passion inspiring teammates and the entire Hardwood Lacrosse group. Drenched in sweat with an energy unmatched, Cooper won the CJ Kirst KBL Player Tee. Congratulations Cooper!

The training session ended with a giveaway crossbar challenge! Each player had the opportunity to make one shot attempt at the crossbar for a chance to win a Halifax Thunderbirds T-shirt. Congratulations Benji Graham!

The Branchburg Sports Complex has been the home for all 2025 KBL Hardwood Lacrosse Training sessions. Here is the registration link for next Monday’s, “Hardwood Lacrosse” session, Monday, February 17th from 7:30-8:30PM:
